Photos will be posted throughout the weekend! How your training is going: The team is training hard. While we’re all training separately across the country, we are sharing workout schedules and playing pick-up games on the weekends. We even have one player who ran the Boston marathon just weeks before our tournament – we intend to be fit and ready to go come early May. How many players and supporters will be travelling to Prague: We will have 8 players who come from all across the US from Washington D.C., New York City, Cleveland, Seattle and San Francisco. How your attendance is being promoted in your local office and the interest that this has generated: The Deloitte U.S. member firms have been very supportive of our trip. We’ve received tons of support from all areas and levels within the organization are pumped for the team and we are so grateful for the opportunity to represent the US on the global stage! Your past experiences of the Prague Cup – for example, how many times have you taken part - or your expectations, if this is your first time: This will be the first time that we send a women’s team to represent the US. We are very grateful for the opportunity to represent the United States – to come together from all parts of the country to show the true spirit and camaraderie of the organization – we can’t wait for the experience and are beyond excited to meet, compete and build relationships with practitioners from all participating countries. How long you will be staying in Prague: Many of us have never been to Prague before and are looking forward to exploring the area and learning more about the city and country. Most of our team will be staying in Prague from Thursday evening through Sunday morning however, after, members will be traveling to places like Paris, Budapest, Spain and Croatia. I think we are all looking to pick up some travel tips from players we meet at the Cup!
