Thanks to Bill Gates, Melinda Gates and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for funding 50% of the 10 sports related projects that Dream Big! sponsored this weekend for schools and girls teams from economically disadvantaged communities on donorschoose.org. The equipment that Dream Big! helped to fund will reach 2050 girls and elementary school children in need. The donations will help launch a new volleyball team in a middle school; provide soccer goals to an elementary school; provide P.E. equipment to several elementary and middle schools; give softball equipment to a high school team in need, provide new ballet barres to a middle school to launch a ballet and modern dance program and help to get children moving with new donated scooters for use during recess.
