Thanks to Brian for the nomination. Ive had to pick five photos - TopicsExpress

Thanks to Brian for the nomination. Ive had to pick five photos that make me smile. Ive broken the rules and made it six, so sue me. I could have posted pretty much every photo I have, looking through has made me smile a lot more than I thought I would, even at the most mundane things. [cringy bit coming up!] Im actually sat here almost in tears with a big lump in my throat - I never take anything for granted and always try to enjoy every moment, but going through these photos has genuinely made me realise not only what an incredibly lucky guy I am, but also what an amazing life I have. For that, I thank EVERY ONE OF YOU! [OK, that bits over...but Ive still got that teary feeling!] Here are the six that are here more as a representation than specifically for that particular picture. Like I say, I really couldnt narrow it down. My stunning, beautiful girlfriend, Amanda who is just incredible beyond words. LOVE YOU! Jed. Never, ever have I known an animal, a person or any thing make me laugh so much. Amanda aside, hes my best friend in the whole world. Every day I am so grateful for having this little maggot in my life, I know Ive already said hes my best friend, but..... My family. I cant find a picture of them all together, so this one of my Ma and my Pa will do. They are the reason I am here, the support, the inspiration and the guidance that has made me who I am and spent the last 42 years putting up with me. The best family I could have ever asked for. Area 52. The people, not the place. My friends - amazing friends and way too many to list. Weve had laughs, adventures, tough times, weve been through it all and I hope this continues to grow? You guys (and girls) are friends beyond measure and I am so grateful that Area 52 exists as a core to keep us all, one way or another, in touch and so there for each other. My cars. Oh yes, I had to drop them in there. Where would I be without the car? A lot better off, for sure. A LOT better off, but also deprived of doing something I love to much....playing with cars, going on adventures, meeting people, learning new things...the list goes on. I love my cars and could spend as much time looking at them as I do driving them. Or planning things for them. This even extends to the mundane motors like my Volvo, even that I get excited to drive. Cars are in my blood. Finally, THIS COUNTRY! I block my ears to all this shit about race, immigration, politics, Britain First etc....and just revel in what a beautiful country we have. Not just the pretty places, but literally everywhere. The gloomy days, the derelict parts, the wind blown barren landscape, the graffiti, the concrete, the industry, pretty much everywhere you turn...all as beautiful as the picture post card beaches and blue skies. I love it all. So there you have it. I nominate Nicky Edwards, Violet Brunel, Julian Rowlands and Richy Barnett. :D
