Thanks to Jeff Phillips for sharing a cost breakdown on the buildout of Cox Mill High School. Our school system is building schools that are amazing economical buildings for our students significantly below the estimated buildout cost that will last for years to come. Commissioner Oesterreich would have you think we are building extravagant masterpieces with too many bells and whistles, yet our school system is building quality buildings to last the long haul. Keep this in mind when you cast your ballots at the polls for County Commission and School Board. We need people who understand and are still cost conscience in what makes our schools what they are, wonderful educational facilities where are children are nurtured and given amazing opportunities for their future.
