Thanks to Kate Palmer and David P. VanWinkle for inspiring me to post this stunning track from Sir Pauls masterful 2007 LP, Memory Almost Full. On House of Wax, Paul paints an apocalyptic scene with some of his most poetic lyrics (reminiscent of Dylans All Along the Watchtower), a vocal that could melt, well, uh, wax, a dirge-like piano and screaming guitar solos. All Paul; all goosebump-inducing; all great.
