Thanks to Keanan Gomezs nomination, I’ve donated $100 to the Pete frates fund, set up to assist in paying medical bills while he fights bravely against Lou Gehrig’s disease. This is also in honor of Sue Matthews who like many, lost the battle against this horrible illness and is greatly missed. I do hope that the awareness and donations remain strong and if you want to be better informed of what’s going on or of other ways to help out, I encourage you to visit petefrates. Also, if there is another charity that connects to you on a more personal level, I think we can all agree that the purpose of this movement is to pay it forward someway, somehow, to help others who are in need.
