Our Perfect Day! posted 11/1/2013 My now husband and I knew that HHI was the place we wanted to get married, since we have many wonderful memories there. We scouted different venues on the island for our 110 guests, and Port Royal was exactly what we wanted-- no sand (even though you can get married at their beach), hotel transportation for our guests, plated and delicious food, inside option if it rains, ceremony lawn... and the list goes on. Planning for the wedding, Tiffany was WONDERFUL and most importantly makes you feel like you are the only bride she is working with! Tiffany has great suggestions, pays attention to detail, listens to what I wanted and made it happen. The Chef is creative and his food is delicious and visually appealing! He altered the menu to include my favorite food (shrimp and grits) to make our wedding special and unique. Wedding day the PR staff and Anne were outstanding-- quickly served each course for dinner, bartenders were friendly, staff was happy, and I dont think my wine was ever empty while eating! :) We took pictures before the ceremony, and walked 10 steps from the ceremony lawn for gorgeous oak trees, green grass, and beautiful stairs leading up to the main doors. Ultimately the wedding day was wonderful, I had very little stress the day of the wedding and had an absolute BLAST!
