Our first stop was Rome and we stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Honestly, before leaving, we were a little concerned about the quality of the hotel based off of the reviews. However upon arrival, we were very pleased with the accomodations. This hotel is clean, our room was clean, and the people working there were professional and courteous. We also enjoyed the hearty breakfast that was offered as part of our stay. I know that other reviewers were not happy with the distance of the hotel to the city center. It is true that you are not in the city center, but you are so close to public transportation, that it is really not a big deal at all. We actually liked taking the train to the different locations because you get a better feel for the city and its people, which both were fantastic. The neighborhood is safe, and there were plenty of places that we stopped to get coffee in the morning or in the evening. If we were to go back to Rome, we would definitely stay here again. Also, it was super easy taking the train from the airport to get to the hotel, and when we left for Florence, we were no more than a 10 minute walk to get to that station. Great deal for your money.
