Thanks to Tamara Scott for having my friend and business partner, Dave Davidson on the show yesterday. We had planned, and still plan a national press release in early January with specifics about our new BIG project, but we wanted to give Tamara the big scoop first, and now I will fill in all of my Facebook friends a bit. I will add that Dave and I were both invited, but while Dave got to do the fun stuff, I spent 14 hours yesterday working on the business aspect of making a movie. How is that fair? :) Dave and I have known each other or known of each other going back about 22 years. We are both musicians and we met through a mutual friend that was in a band with Dave. If my memory serves me right, we might have jammed together a few times. Anyway. Dave and I started carpooling to Rand Paul events a while back since I was filming Rand The Movie and Dave was filming Shooting The President Movie. When you stick 2 crazy guys like us together, unusual and highly creative conversations take place. Ultimately, those conversations led us to alter the general concept of Rand The Movie to cover all Presidential candidates from now until the GOP Convention in 2016. As you will see in the video, our movie is called The Nominee and we expect it to be in theaters across this nation in September of 2016, right before the general election. I dont want to go into great detail here, but the general concept in my own words is this. If you are going to vote, come and see who you are really voting for, not just speeches, commercials and the controlled message by political campaign consultants. We will not endorse any candidate or promote any positions. We will bring the facts to the voters in the theater in an informative and entertaining manner, thus enabling them to make the decision we hope will make our country better for our children. We are working on silly things like web sites, posters, t-shirts, Lamborghinis, ok, not Lamborghinis, but all the usual stuff. Right now we have Twitter set up and you can contact either of us directly about the movie. This is fun stuff friends. Stay tuned!
