Thanks to The Buddah ( Diane Lawler & staff), David DjSplintr Noe, Bob Lucas, Robert Cable, Timmy Johnston, John Hyatt, Brett Wagener, Pat McGee & Scotty - for all pitching in and helping deliver a great evening last night. The Buddah is the only concert venue that we play in Ft myers. Otherwise we transform sports-bars and eateries into rock & roll hellholes. Risers & backdrops can do wonders in tight spaces, but sincere thanks to the Buddah for providing a full production venue. Things are ramping up here in my world, lots of amazing things happening. We are finishing mixing the upcoming 10,000 Views Cd. Aug 22&23 we shoot two videos at The The Buddah Nightclub in support. Im playing a show in Belgium in a couple of weeks (Aug 9) with FOUR BY FATE, we are on a fesitval bill with Twisted Sister, WASP, & Marilyn Manson. (all favorites of mine) Four by Fate is always an incredible and inspiring experience, a classic example of go big or stay home. Im starting preproduction on a new Killing Machine cd with my dear old friend Peter Scheithauer . The charismatic Johnny Rod will be playing bass, with James Rivera singing. This will be an awesome metal record, and an inspiring departure from everything that IM doing right now. Its funny how all this stuff falls into place just as my wrist is finally healed. Its all about timing, timing really is the most important thing about show-business. Alas in this sea of goodness lies the weary task of walking the fine line between work and family. How to service the needs before me timely & professionally, yet make sure those I love feel loved. (Im not winning any awards at moment) After a long week of playing and working on a couple properties, I feel like I got run over by a truck. I think Im gonna spend the day sitting on my ass thinking about how to make this part of my life work as smooth as the rock & roll part. lol Wish me luck. carry on
