Thanks to all for the responses about Grandma. I have laughed and cried a 100 times this last 48 hours. I particularly loved the grandmas quotes that you all remembered. I have to add a few more because they are important!! To Grandma PRINCIPLE was far more important than PERSON. Therefore, thanks to The Lord, she laid into me on countless occasions when I broke the principle. She would say Ill give you the back of my hand and the front of my foot. She never did but when I stuck my tongue out at the next door neighbor who was a mysterious guy to us all grandma got a switch off the peach tree and brought up welts on the back of my legs. Lesson learned real quick. She would say, Im doing this because I love you. I never doubted that. When I got a speedy ticket in the hot Pontiac with three carburetors at 16 she marched me down to juvenile court and said Throw the book at this kid. I lost my license for a year. I am so grateful for her for keeping my nose clean. Love you, Mom. I know you are still going to bat for us on a daily basis with Heavenly Father.
