Thanks to all of you for your concern. Heres the scoop: I was out back walking on the path, thought I put my foot up over the big rock, but obviously it didnt make it and my knee hit the rock! My knee gashed open and blood was everywhere and wouldnt stop.........not lovely when you live alone. So I gathered my red self up, called some friends, and decided I better just leave right then for a clinic. Went to W. 11th, very nice folks there: nurse, doctor........made me comfortable, assuring. I highly recommend their after hours staff (at least tonight). He was a dear and didnt do stitches but used a very interesting glue to hold it together, meds, and bandages. I drove in the dark home which is a battle in itself, and voila. Cant do much, but Im fine and dandy. A neurologist seems to be next since no one seems to like the fact Ive been falling quite a bit lately.............well see. Now to get calm.............
