Thanks to all that came out today to the 1st Baker House Heritage Festival. It was a beautiful day and we had a steady crowd from the moment we opened until closing time. Thanks to all that set up their displays and shared their knowledge. We had several booths set up and they always seemed to have a crowd. Thanks to the groups that came out and sold food and drink items. We were glad to support the Wildwood Middle High School Cheerleaders, Sumter County Teen Court and the Heritage Church Nicaragua Trip. We were thrilled to have Alma Russ, Benjamin Dehart; The Cracker Tenor, Myron and Sandy Leggett, Austin Stanley and John Johnson perform today and also very lucky to have State Champion Whip Cracker Cameron Cato. Congratulations to Beverly Capps Johnson winner of $125.00 from our chance drawing. Donations at the Baker House today raised a total of $2,633.00, add $125.00 our portion of the chance drawing, for a total of $2,758.00. Thank you for a great day.
