Thanks to all who volunteered and help make the Autumn Harvest Festival and specifically the RoadKill Cook-Off a success yesterday. Also thanks to all who visited the festival and contributed support to it. The Chamber of Commerce will be having a "Hot Wash" meeting in the next couple of weeks to discuss the successes and failures of the mission (Air Force Talk). Please contact me personally (e-mail or phone) if you liked something specifically about RoadKill or if you think there is something we can do better. We will discuss any inputs at that meeting when considering the festival for next year. We are already aware that the long lines to taste RoadKill is not acceptable. When you have 13 cooks serving 15,000 people who want to taste all 13 RoadKill samples, it is difficult to make that work.
