Thanks to co-webmistress Michelle who found this news about ELECTRIC SLIDE via SOUNDTRACK STREAM: Kevin Haskins is set to score the upcoming crime drama Electric Slide. The film is based on a true story set in the 1980s and centers on the life of furniture salesman who robbed a bank to impress his new girlfriend and became a serial robber known as “The Gentleman Bandit”. The film is written and directed by Tristan Patterson and stars Jim Sturgess, Isabel Lucas, Patricia Arquette, Chloë Sevigny, and Christopher Lambert. Hans C. Ritter (Sound of My Voice), Christine Vachon (Boys Don’t Cry, Far from Heaven, Kill Your Darlings) & Kirk D’Amico (Eulogy) are producing the Myriad Pictures production. Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers series, G.I. Joe) is among the executive producers of the project. Electric Slide is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere in 2014.
