Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. A year with more ups than downs. The downer was huge. We lost a huge family friend in Dickie Small. He was great to our family and my fathers best friend. That was a tough one. But he was a huge part of the fun part of my year as well.ost of his horses went with Dylan Smith. She had done a great job. Greatful nation set a new course record at laurel, Just sayin won an allowance race, and she trains my main home girl Vielsalm. Vielsalm won the All Brandy Stakes at Laurel and an allowance at delaware. Her full brother Open The Bank was fun to watch. I bred Street Magicians first stakes winner My Magician. Went to Chile for the first time. Quin and I ran the Baltimore Marathon. My best friend since first grade told me that he is going to be a daddy. My other best friend had his kidney safely removed with a tumor on it. Finally gave the proper marriage proposal to my wife that she deserved in the poconos. Soaked in some San Diego sun. Saw another national open at williams grove. Owen has been the best kid that I could ever imagine. I have watched a few women that are stronger than I will ever hope to be kick the hell out of cancer. Had some fun playing horse doctor. Caught some fish. And Elizabeth Bowman finally got her alpacas.
