Thanks to everyone for your birthday wishes they were truly appreciated. It has already been a whirlwind weekend. I hooked up with my students from the class of 1993 at the Rock n Bowl here in New Orleans, Louisiana. Great fun, music, dancing and laughs. I was amazed about how many stupid things I had said 20 years ago that my students still remember. Saturday morning my younger sister who recently moved to N.O. Took my out for a fabulous breakfast with Bloody Marys, then in the afternoon my neighbor had a crab and lobster boil resplendent with many concoctions and topped off with a variety of cheesecakes. I repeatedly ran across the street to watch my beloved Bulldogs kick the Clemson Tigers butts. To top it all off Im going to play some golf this morning with my two new Cajun friends who are both professional musicians who have toured the world with numerous luminaries from the music world. Needless to say, we will share some laughs and libations thanks be to god for life, family, friends and the health to enjoy it all. Once again, thank you for all of your birthday wishes. They meant a lot to me!
