Thanks to everyone who came out to help plan the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Hurley Gym. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony is scheduled for November 1st, (Saturday) beginning at 9 am. We also decided hold a fund raiser right after the Ribbon Cutting. We will have basketball games all day. We will play all the Hurley teams who want to play and are inviting other teams across the county. We may even get some of The Board Of Supervisors lead by Supervisor Trey Adkins and some of the Buchanan County Deputies to compete. There will be a fee to watch the games. We also will be serving refreshments. With all proceeds going to three (3) individuals from our area who are battling cancer. Samuel Dotson, Jimmy Edwards and James Griffith.
