Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. You know, events change your life. Early in 2007 I was diagnosed with a rare lymphoma. When I found that out I wanted to live long enough to see Jessica graduate from Ohio State - I did. Then I wanted to make it until Christmas - I did. In 2009 I had a stem cell transplant with my sister, Kay Vermiion, as the donor. Were it not for her being a 100% match and a willingness to be a donor I would not be here today. The real hero of this story is my wife, Janey. She has been in this adventure from the beginning. She goes to every doctors appointment with me, and there are still many. She is my proctor keeping me from doing stupid things health wise. I still get to do other stupid things. At one point this year I wasnt sure if I would see Christmas let alone my Birthday - I did. I guess my point is that priorities change but the loving people around you dont. Again, thanks for all the Birthday wishes.
