Thanks to little sis Diana for nominating me to the ALS #IceBucketChallenge to raise awareness and money for ALS. Also known as Lou Gehrigs Disease, ALS is a terminal disease that affects nerve cells in both the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement. Over time, it weakens motor neurons and the ability to control muscle movement is lost, often paralyzing patients in later stages of the disease. Its a silly dare, but not a silly cause. Im putting Lauren Kratchman, Allie Schnall, Nick Harkness, Jen Talarico, Elyse Tirico, and Kim Landry to the challenge.
