Thanks to one of my dearest friends, Andy Firk,for tagging me in a share of this RSA Animate offering. Permaculturists are familiar with the idea of fractals and interconnectivity. I used to use Venn Diagrams as a means of describing the overlap of connections of social organization but found it too simplistic and limiting. The idea of bubble floating and bumping and incorporating into larger bubble worked well for me. A proud systems theorist, I NOW find that the subterranean and extensive mycelial network is he best analog, Like neural networks it is fractal in nature. The gatherings and events that teachers and student attend to promote the paradigm shift are analogous to the mushroom fruiting bodies. The new and curious among us take the new learning back with them and are the spores that spread the magic far and wide. I am so encouraged by the rapidity of this kind of sharing that serves so well to Care for the Earth, Care for People and, by its own nature, Shares the Loving Abundance!!!
