Thanks to our Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre Branch for sharing details of this upcoming fundraiser, which a team of local supporters are doing to help beat blood cancer! From 26th June to 28th June, James Cheal, Greg McEvoy, Aidan McEvoy, Mike Croft, Ian Horsfall, Mick OBrien, Craig Duerden, Mark Trent and Steve Redman will be completing a 170 miles cycle challenge from Scarborough Jetty to Blackpool North Pier. They are doing this to raise funds for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and Trinity Hospice, as Jamess sister Lorraine was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2012 and has recently suffered a relapse, making the fundraising challenge even more important to all those taking part.
