Thanks to special grants and the generous donations of individuals, the MSPCA at Nevins Farm is able to offer low-cost spay-neuter services for a variety of animals who live in designated communities, including Lawrence, Haverhill, Lowell, and Methuen. Cats and Kittens: The spay-neuter package is $10, and includes, the spay or neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, FVRCP (distemper)vaccination, microchip (a form of permanent identification) and a nail trim. For Dogs: The cost of the spay-neuter surgery package is $75 (except for services for Pit Bulls, which is free for residents in Lawrence, Haverhill, Lowell, and Methuen, or $50 for Pit Bulls in all other communities, per our Pit Pals program). The surgery package includes the spay-neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, distemper vaccination, and microchip (a form of permanent identification). For Rabbits: The spay-neuter package is $75, and includes the spay or neuter surgery and nail trim. Please note that rabbits must be at least 6 months of age. Applications are available on-line.
