Thanks to the Burlington bridge shutdown all of Niagara can enjoy the same economic benefits that Welland has enjoyed while having a major bridge shutdown. Who needs a car when all you can afford is a bicycle? Think of the environmental benefit of shutting down half the gas stations thanks to reduced truck traffic. Toronto could even get its new casino since it isnt like a sharp decline in Toronto guests in Niagara Falls would make a huge difference. Id also like to thank all the opponents to passenger rail development, cargo rail maintenance, and the mid-peninsula highway for sealing the deal on this one. Niagara can go into full retirement.
