Much appreciated November 11 2013 SSP AID FOR VISAYAS VICTIMS Dear Scandinavians, No doubt you are all aware of the terrible conditions in many parts of Visayas due to the landfall of super-typhoon Yolanda. Through media, we have all seen the horrific and sad pictures of human suffering that has spared nobody in the areas affected. Some of us may have friends or relatives that has yet to be accounted for. Most of us would like to find ways to provide help to those affected. The Scandinavian Society has decided to work with the Springboard Foundation (springboard-foundation.org) to best channel aid to where it is needed most, and fast. The Springboard Foundation works with trustworthy local organizations in the areas affected, ensuring funds and goods are received by those in need. We would like to call on all Scandinavians to help us raise at least P500,000 for this important, humanitarian mission. By donating only Five Thousand Pesos (P5,000) per Person, we can easily raise this amount, which will go a long way for the affected people in Visayas. The Scandinavian Society will lead the way by donating P100,000. Time and life is of essence.
