Thanks to your hard work, another victory for #VisionZero! The State Senate has passed a bill already approved by the Assembly allowing New York City to deploy 120 more speed cameras, for a total of 140 cameras in school zones around the city, during school hours. Now we just need state lawmakers to allow the city to place the cameras anywhere in the 5 boroughs, and keep them turned on after school hours, since 77% of all fatal crashes happen at night and on weekends.
