Thanksgiving Update: Dear Festhalle Freunde! Your enthusiasm has helped us through challenging and often stressful times. So Thank You, Danke, Dekujeme! Here is the latest: -All finishes are 80% complete -Tables are built and benches are underway -Lighting is 90% hung and the search for the perfect lightbulb has begun. (Yes believe it or not this is an important part of the process!) -Bar stools arrived. They are super cool!!!! They will be mounted to the floor next week. -Crew is working today, Friday! No holiday weekend for us!!! Electricians, finish crew, cleaning crew, welders. -Saturday- floors are sealed for the 2nd time. We werent happy with the 1st round. -Basement 90% finished. Shelving goes into place Monday - Brick patio for dog friendly seating is complete as well as bike parking out front. -Ocean friendly gardens have begun to be planted. More planting soon. Come join Surfrider Foundation NJ. Details coming. Challenges to open: We are having some issues with our boiler. Looks like all will be resolved by Wednesday. Unfortunately, this sets us back a week or so. We are also backed up on a few doors and equipment safety rails. Once these are in place we can get to inspections. Timing: We are hoping Chef James will be in the kitchen by Dec 8. If we can nail this schedule we should be opening with in a few weeks. Our Motto in Czech: Lepsi Pozde Nez Nikdy!
