Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on all of our blessings God has given us. Its a time for family, friends, & traditions. This Thanksgiving we are thankful for the blessing of life, healing and having each other. We are thankful for all of the prayers and support weve received from friends, family, and the whole community. We are overwhelmed by the thought of than many people and churches who have added Dad to their prayer chains. We know that his progress has been helped along by all of those prayers. We are thankful for the many cards, gifts, and well wishes from so many across the country & even out of the country. We are thankful for the prayers for Mom and the rest of the family. Mom is one stubborn and strong woman! She is staying with Dad and making sure he is well taken care of. We are thankful for all those who have stepped up to make sure she has good meals and she is being cared for. We know this holiday season will be hard because many traditions will be broken. But we still have Dad. He is a fighter. He is wanting to get better and he is!! We continue to say prayers for the healing of wounds & relief of pain, the clearing of his lungs, the strength of his swallowing muscles, and continued spirit of wanting to get better!
