Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday but with mixed emotions. I love this holiday because it was my favorite as I was growing up. My dad would carve the turkey and later eat the homemade oatmeal raisin cookies I made for him. Our family was big enough to fill our house you love and laughter. But since my dad has passed, things have changed, my siblings live far away along with my nieces and nephews, my husband moved out, my kids are growing up and have their own lifes, and to top it off I lost my job. But I refuse to let the situations of life stop me from feeling the same way I use to when I was just a little girl. I may be as broke as broke gets but this invitation is from my heart because that is truly who I am. So as this Thanksgiving Day approaches I want to wish all of my family and friends a beautiful day and enjoy whatever your plans you have made but if you are alone, and have no one to share it with, my home is always open ♡ Being thankful for what I have and for what I have lost
