Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year. It is a humbling and inspiring opportunity to reflect on the people, events, and accomplishments that fill my life and why they mean so much to me. Today, Ive taken a few moments to pause, watch the snow peacefully fall outside, and reflect on some of the many things I am grateful for that have occurred this year. I am grateful for my family and friends and their health. After recovering from pneumonia a couple months back, I am grateful to have my own health. Im grateful to have one of the coolest jobs on earth with some of the coolest students on earth, and am grateful to have one of the sweetest and silliest dogs on earth. Her snore is legendary. I am grateful that Ive become a homeowner this year. Im grateful to have continued to grow professionally in my career, with some of the biggest opportunities Ive ever had, and am grateful for all the lessons Ive learned this year as I do my best to become a strong, compassionate, productive, and inspiring human being.
