That Awkward Moment When... you may already know me...wait...let me put my stocking over my face!!! You may know Cee Lo Green as the singer of that last syndrome-worthy song, “F*ck You,”—or just “Forget You,” if you prefer the clean version—and a returning coach on “The Voice.” But long before he made it as an artist in the music business, he was just a regular guy with a difficult childhood and a criminal past. Shocking, right? Green talked to Howard Stern on the latter’s radio show this week about his dad’s death when the singer was two years old, and how he took care of his mom after an accident that left her quadriplegic. In addition to all that, Green revealed that he was involved in a “strong-arm robbery.” When asked if he “ever beat someone up to the point where they were unconscious,” Green admitted: “Maybe they came to after we were gone.” He added: “I feel a great deal of remorse.” Cee Lo also admitted that he wasn’t too worried when he was replaced by Usher on “The Voice” because he “just kind of assumed” that the ratings would drop. Whoa.
