That Mum who sent in her post on bringing her husbands daughter to live with her has this to say; I am the lady who posted about intending to get my hubbys 8yr old daughter and was attacked left, right and center. I hope you never find yourselves in a similar situation. 1. When hubby and I met, their daughter was 5yrs old and she was already engaged to another man and still not married to date, so please I am not a home breaker, may God forgive you! 2. I dont need his daughter for a househelp, in two years of marriage I have kept 4 of my nieces and 1 nephew from hubbys side plus our son. Non of my relatives live with us. We still live with them to day and they all go to private schools. I drop them off every morning and afternoon. I have had a maid since our son was born, so please I may b a stepmom but definitely not one like most of you are! 3. My decision to take the girl is based on his complaints. Hubby would regularly say to me: I cant stand hearing or knowing that my daughter is living with another man(her mothers husband). In the beginning, I used to keep quiet, later I just always said bring her to stay with us, and then hed say I have heard. Times without number, I have assisted him to pay damages to no avail. 4. I would have no problem if she communicates about finances or anything for the girl, but to have found texts about her missing him, and thanking him for visits I am unaware of is a bit hard to take. 5. I also agree with all who say its no easy giving up a child, it would be hard for me too, but I was just thinking git would remedy something, thats all. I wish you all very well as I anticipate some reasonable advice if any.
