That Total Slaughter Eminem battle was the most awful spectacle of nonsense i ever witnessed. thank goodness for ustream, i cant imagine the people who paid for that on ppv or took time out of their lives to go there. they must be miserable. everyone in the battle was pretty bad at rapping, which was the one thing they were supposed to do. a whole lot of nobodies doing jokes about how many guns they have and how they kill people. ridiculous nonsense. i can only imagine how bad it would be if they had to rhyme over beats like real mcees did in battles like craig g or supernat, or walz or juice, or moe dee, etc... its sad that battle raps have become weird snap contests about thuggery where you pause every few bars, repeat the same lines over and over, mess up and act like you are playing to the crowd, etc... i should have known better when a baboon like EBRO was associated with this. Its good to see Eminem put his name behind battles and give it a shot at promoting it, but not these dudes, uggghhhh it was really not good. if there is no beats and simply bad jokes, the average comedian in the local comedy bar would win one of these, and these characters think they are mcees, lol. sometimes its entertaining, but not this time. major fail. i guess i was spoiled by seeing and djaying for the best who ever did it. ok, im done, moving on... dont even comment, i just needed to write this.
