That Tutsi are selfish is beyond doubt Since the eruption of relations between Rwanda and Tanzania, Tutsi have been all over the place complaining that they are being harassed by Kikwete who is portrayed to be originally from Burundi and is married to a Hutu woman from Rwanda. Therefore he is automatically against Tutsi. If non-Tutsi made a similar comment about how Tutsi are mistreating them, Tutsi would accuse them of sectarianism and inciting genocide against Tutsi. This is the dilemma we face in dealing with Tutsi leadership. Tutsi believe that God created them to rule others. If you enter into a relationship with them their understanding is that you are doing so a subordinate. The idea that you can lead is not in their equation. A few days after David Sejjusa (Tinyefuza) left Uganda for England with a two-year visa and plenty of money as we are told, he announced that he was ready to serve Uganda as the next president because he believes that as a Tutsi he is anointed to serve that function. The alleged crimes he committed against Uganda for about thirty years are none of his business. According to him, Ugandans need him, period. We have been saying that we all need to accept that all Ugandans are born free and equal in dignity and rights. Until Tutsi accept this reality and play by the rules instead of by the barrel of the gun and money they acquire at gun point Uganda and the Great Lakes region will remain a very unstable place. Non-Tutsi people now know their rights and are demanding they be treated with respect, not as slaves or servants of Tutsi. Eric
