We were here in the cafeteria, catching yet another glimpse of Dane. For the past three years, all I did is to follow him around. It was like some obsession I can’t outgrow. I rolled my eyes at him and continued stealing glimpse. It was the only consolation I had. I can never muster the guts to go and talk to Dane. Every time I would, my tongue gets tied. It was frustrating! I was never the kind of girl who gets shy when boys are around. I was so confident and I knew I had it. But with Dane? Everything was just so freaking hard. It was like my heart would jump out of my chest at the mere sight of him.
