That awkward moment when a bus conductor turned actor is hailed as Thalaiva (Leader) and as the stellar, most befitting role model for many of our youth. I agree that Rajinikanth is the epitome of humility and that his rags to riches story adds a wow factor to his appeal and he can be taken as a good example as to not forget your humble beginnings. At the same time, the quotes and Rajinis dialogue in his movies do not come from him - they come from scriptwriters (but, he is wise) and in order for Rajini to do a movie, A LOT of other technicians are involved. We have many other good role models to look up to, whose invention and contribution we use everyday like Sundar Pichai who came up with Google Chrome and Shiva Ayyadurai who invented email and if you are looking for a rag to riches icon whom you can take as an inspiration, theres Dr Abdul Kalam. Besides the likelihood of you ending up as an actor like Rajini is far, far lower (near impossible) than the likelihood of you becoming like Sundar Pitchai, Shiva Ayyadurai, Ruchi Sanghvi or Varun Agarwal for that matter. The kids who won the double gold award at the British Young Inventor competition and the kids who invented pedal operated washing machine and went on to come tops in Innovation Challenge is the proof. #JanganMarahAkuPunTungguNakTengokLingaJugak
