That bill which is aimed at doing away with these unnecessary nomination slots in the county assemblies,National Assembly and the Senate should have been tabled on the floor like yesterday or the day before yesterday.On top of that,the women reps should be also done away with and reduce the constituencies to the number they were before the risk occured(passage of the new constitution).Simple mathematics shows that the 700 nominated members of county assemblies(MCAs)assuming each one takes a minimum salary of Kshs180000 every month,all of them costs the Kenyan taxpayer a whooping 126,000,000.Surely,do we need these people?
