That feel when you remember your account/old site that you used to spend hours on. You log in and realize just how many people youve lost contact with that you used to chat with all the time. It is weird to think about all the people you used to care about, and furthermore care what they thought about you. I guess thats part of getting older: narrowing your scope of people that matter to you, and likewise, coming to a place where you care little about what most people think of you. There are so many people who I used to know and have grown apart from. So many who I used to talk to daily, or at minimum weekly. It is interesting to look and see just how many people succeeded at life, but maybe strangely more interesting to see who failed to launch as it were. I feel like life is passing a lot of old friends by. Ive grown so much as a person that our world views and priorities are so different, I have nothing in common with them other than the school I went to 10 years ago. It is just a really weird feeling. I un-friended about 100 people last week, and that was very difficult. I was getting very tired of some of their posts. On the other hand, many of them hadnt posted anything in a year or more. If you made the cut, congrats! (Or, maybe from your perspective, Im sorry? lol) My friend list was feeling a bit like bloatware that comes on a new PC.
