That fellow on the steel guitar on my right is no longer with us. Jimmy Church wasnt just one of the most talented musicians I ever knew, but was also a fellow fireman, a fine father, and my dear friend. Always smiling, never too serious, always willing to try anything. Some of the best memories I have of a long musical career involve Jimmy. The fellow you saw on stage was only a small part of my buddy Jimmy. My heart is broken and I have a hole in my life that i know will never be filled, but I rest assured that when I reach my final reward, you will be waiting back stage with some joke or hilarious story, and a huge hug with a Where ya been Rus? God blessed me with the time I got to share with you, and the world is a better place for you having been here. God keep my friend.
