That is a wrap! The Storm Chasing: The Anthology Kickstarter campaign reached $10,200! An amazing 30-day campaign this has been! A sincere thank you to everyone who supported this effort financially, through word of mouth, social media, broadcast promotion, blog postings, guidance, and content donations! When I began re-visiting this documentary project last November, I was uncertain how all of this would evolve. Through each step of the way, doors have opened, relationships renewed, new connections have materialized, and every evolution of this process has felt right. With the outpouring of support from family, friends, colleagues, and complete strangers, I will be following my heart this Fall. Around the point when I began the initial planning for a documentary film in 2003, a quote placed at the bottom of a Western Michigan University geography GEOG 225 course syllabus caught my attention. I clipped it out, have carried it through all my moves in life, and firmly believe its wisdom: Make no small plans. They have no magic to stir humanitys blood and probably themselves will not be realized. Make big plans; aim high in hope and work, remembering that a noble, logical plan once recorded will never die, but long after we are going will be a living thing, asserting itself with ever growing insistency.
