That look on her face I know all to well. Leading up to my debut show, I remember those gym days where u were fueled by your fire to win over the lack of calories you injested. There were moments of tears, waiting to recuperate from your last grueling set...questioning why you were putting yourself through hell for glory. I was training for my idea of the ultimate championship bc of all the measures I took to put myself on that stage. I sacrificed so much that the only choice I had was to fight for more even until I passed out bc I knew I then gave it my all. I swallowed my pain and at times vomit to achieve what I wanted and while I didnt make it to pro status yet, those tears that she holds, that questioning stare, that grit she holds in her teeth as she pushed through set after torturous set....I understand. ..because when you want something THAT badly, there are no excuses, there is no tomorrow for cardio and there isnt a plan b. All you have is that moment to take care of the deed at hand...and that is what makes you a champion.
