That time of year has arrived again!!! Homebush - Canterbury (a place very dear to my heart) is opening its gates to the public over 2 days - the 17th November and the 1st December at 10am till 4pm. Some of you may remember Homebush losing its 133 year old homestead in the 4th September 2010 earthquake. The new homestead is currently being built and this open day offers you a rare peek at the beginning of this new chapter in the story of the Deans. Take in the Museum situated in the gorgeous historical stables, stroll the gardens, be caught up in the tales of the Deans and Homebush, bring your lunch, buy your lunch...get out of Christchurch for the day and soak up Homebushs wonderful history!!! $10 per person 2142 Homebush Road, R.D. 1, Darfield I hope to see you there!!!
