That was a short night. Slept maybe 2 hrs because I had a guilty conscious. I made dinner rolls and decided to take a short cut and use the bread machine. They did not turn out and I told the family I would bring them. I went to bed with the attitude I would just stop at a store and buy some. Knowing how our family loves these rolls was heavily on my mind and could not sleep. So at 4:30 am I got up and started making them again the old fashion way. I feel better now. I can sleep on the way up north. Happy Thanksgiving. Are there any horror stories out there on your turkey day while cooking? I have one. Years ago when my other still lived upstairs above the Hardware Store, we were fixing our dinner. One member always fixed the best home made noodles ever. Someone had sat a ashtray on the stove and the next thing you know it was in the noodles. We just scooped out the ashes and had noodles anyway, and they were good.
