That would be Superb by Karin Taylor I like how the sun settles on my eiderdown of feathers, I like just how it glimmers on a silky set of waves, I like how two clocks ticking cannot keep time together, I like how I feel oneness with a pod of peaceful whales. I like how little breezes touch the daisies who feel tickled, I like how clouds are transient and cannot be tied down, I like how skies are blue and grey and oceans deep and wide, I like how looking at them gives me peace and warmth inside. I like how little snails so mild unfold their tiny foot to glide, I like visiting the spiders building webs in which to hide, I like the beetles round and fat that look like little helmet hats, I like to watch the eagles fly and marvel at them way up high. I like the tibouchina leaves that look like ropes and how the bees, especially blue-banded ones with stripes of brilliant colour, buzz with buzzes louder than any single other, I like the song of magpies and the rainbow lorikeets, I like how they are bold as brass With beaks so full of cheek. If there was a way I could remain unseen/unheard, I think it would be wonderful to simply just observe, a spider here, a beetle there a pretty little bird, quietly I’d watch all day Yes, that would be superb.
