That you use a seatbelt in a car, does not mean you can then hit - TopicsExpress

That you use a seatbelt in a car, does not mean you can then hit 120 on a 60 lane. Thats foolishness. Relationships have rules you must abide by. Breaking them because you have the seatbelt (Holy Spirit) is unwise. You dont get up and say you can do and say as you please because the seatbelt (grace) covers you. Some of us forget that a relationship is to be gradual. You dont rush it at break neck speed to the altar then start asking pastors to pray for your marriage when you did not take time to know who your spouse was and their family. You dont do that and say you have a seatbelt (attend the same church) and say it does not matter. You dont get up and suddenly just because to take all sorts of risks and do stupid things in the name of love and say you have the seatbelt (love) so thats all you need and everything will work out. A car can have a flat tire while speeding and tumble, killing its occupants. A car can skid on wet or icy roads and get into another lane and hit other cars, killing and wounding people. It can also slam into the guard rail. It can fall over the side of a bride because of bad handling and dangerous driving. Youre relationship and marriage can crash if youre not careful. Make wise choices. Wisdom is profitable to direct. In all thy getting, get understanding.
