Thats an 11yr old riding him in video. More pics in comments Its with absolute heart break that i must offer my man Auto for sale. After some off and on lameness i had him blocked and x-rayed. Turns out he has a small fracture on his navicular bone and beginning stage of coffin bone rotation ( they think he may have been born with it). He has had a special shoe put on and is currently sound on flat ground and in the arena. I just had the shoes put on him (August 12th) so according to the vet and farrier, he should get better and no further rotation should take place. This guy is BROKE! I use him to teach lessons, a 7 yr old rides him and an 11 year old spent hours on the trails alone on him. Hes no plug though. He was my next up and comer! The colt will slide and has a good start to a spin. Hes very light and moves of your leg with ease, he even knows hows how to lie down and bow. Hes also started on the barrel pattern. This is an amazing guy that has been dealt a bad card. I would keep him as a lesson horse if I could afford it. He would make a great 4-h horse or western pleasure. Even beginner reining! A good home is an absolute must!!!! If you are,willing to keep up with shoeing and keep him comfortable we can work out a very very reasonable sale price. He may get better with more corrective shoeing and injections could make an even bigger difference. I have tones of video of him if interested! My vet is also available to talk to!
