Thats fourteen 25K sacks of EcoFuel moved into the inner sanctum of the garage old coal bunker. A shovel full of this stuff made in the Redcar steel works, sold at £6.50 a bag. Add a few logs and your set for the night. Gas bill? What gas bill? The Log burner heats the house and or, if you want the hot water. A sack of Eco can last a week of nights or in a coal snap keep the fire burning all day for four days which indeed heats the whole house. More importantly the house feels aired with the draw of the chimney, which running up through the house acts like a thick brick storage heater giving a lustful warmth to the bedrooms. Log burners are the way ahead. Who needs fracking! Lets replant the forests on every mountain, open space, hedgerow and road curtilage. Imagine how beautiful these British Isle would be, how clean the air if 30% of our barron space was planted with broad leaf Oakes, Ash, Birch and Rowen trees. We could do this in ten years. What a legacy to leave our grandchildren.
