Thats it, before I go Im going to rant about a certain theory Ive been seeing more and more of Having a tumblr and a facebook page I see pokemon theories all the time but there is one theory/headcannon that is just getting on my nerves. Its the theory that N has autism. The reason why I hate seeing this so much is because there is no real evidence of this theory. First of all his backstory in Black and White explains his personality and behavior. N is an awkward character, he isnt good with interacting with other people but despite that he is very intelligent and methodical and is very comfortable with talking to pokemon. Now add his backstory, he was shut away from civilization or human contact up until he was able to leave to begin his journey. Try to imagine yourself blocked away from any human contact, you couldnt go walk around in busy cities, shop in local stores, go to school that is crowded with people who are around your age. Im sure any of us would feel very awkward and insecure if we had to experience human interaction for the first time. Just remember that interaction and social skills vary from person to person but no matter who you are there comes a time in life where you are going to be nervous in front of people, where you dont know what to say, or how to react, heck even when we meet someone new it is going to be awkward and uncomfortable. Or think about the first day of school, we all have had that uneasy feeling when faced with situations like these. Just because someone has a tough time communicating with others does not automatically make them autistic, plus Ns past that I explained is a clear reason for his innocent and awkward personality. One other thing that just grinds my gears about this theory is how people justify that a character has a certain trait because the person has it themselves. Just because you have a trait and can relate to this character does not prove this theory nor does it support it. Get mad at me all you want, its not a valid source.
