That’s it! I am DONE with MacKenzie and her nasty games!! Yesterday I decided to wear this sweater that my mom’s friend knit me. Ordinarily, when I get something homemade as a gift, I say, “Wow, aren’t you creative!” Then I “create” a new pile for ugly homemade gifts I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing! But I thought this one was pretty cute, so I wore it. Turns out MacKenzie disagreed! When she saw me, she said, “Hey DORK! Nice sweater. It’s so ugly that when your mom dropped you off at school this morning, she probably got a FINE for LITTERING!” I REFUSE to be a mean girl like her, so I’ve decided to “kill her with kindness” next time she says something super rude to me. That means I’ll say something to show I’m WAY above her immature jokes, that has a SLIGHT condescending tone, like, “Man, it must hurt to be in such a bad mood all the time. So sorry you feel down so frequently!” Any other ideas of “kind” things I could say?
