The old ACLU was engaged in promoting a Communist victory but it believed that the best way to do that was through an open society. Now it’s promoting an Islamist victory and it no longer sees the open society as its method of choice, but an Islamist supremacist society that gives special rights to Muslims while denying them to everyone else.
